Christmas

Ok, so I'm a little late in posting here but I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a wonderful time just being together. It was wonderful having Dad, Mom and Krissy home. I was the designated driver to the airport and I must say it was much more fun picking them up than dropping them off. It's so hard to drive away, with tears in your eyes, not knowing when we'll see eachother again. I certainly am thankful for the wonderful memories we made together this past Christmas. -Can I say "wonderful" one more time? (awkward!)

Here are a couple of the kids' favorite presents.

Emma was thrilled to finally have an outfit to match what she's always known to be true, "I am THE princess of this home!" The child has not taken her outfit off since she received it.

Joel was equally as thrilled with his Spiderman costume. Hang on here, oh nope that's Mikey. (Sorry, the abs and pecs were throwing me off.) I can't tell you how many times Mikey has come running around the corner and scared the bologna outta me. Of course he thinks it's hilarious that he made me scream, and will spend the rest of the day trying to scare me. It's very cute to hear the giggles under that mask.

Wow! and to think that Superman is actually able to lift off and fly with that bulk! I must say that I feel completely secure with all these superheroes in my home. Posted by Picasa

Too funny!!! I sat here LOLing like crazy with "Joel's costume". My nephew Garrett got one of those Spiderman costumes as well and greeted us with it when they came down Christmas. Ok, but Superman's cracks me up the most -- holy cow could they make it look any bulkier?! By the way I tagged you on my blog and of course you had to go and update your blog today after I just slammed you for not updating it for 3 weeks. :)

And by the way, does everyone remember when having underoos of your favorite superhero was enough! And I just read about underoos that they are now considered vintage and collectors items so if I still had mine, ur I mean if I had ever had any and saved them they would sell for $100.

I think that Spiderman costume was the "hot item" this year and I'm thrilled to say that we are the proud owner of one of this year's "hotties". The Superman outfit is filled with air. It comes with a little fan that you clip to your belt and it stays inflated. Well we didn't have batteries for it at the time so I am filling it with a blowdryer in this picture. It's on cold, of course :o)

Wow...shocking that underoos are vintage now! It won't be long before someone shows on the Antique Roadshow with a pair. By the way, in case you're wondering...I had Wonder Woman. I mean, good grief! she was the only female superhero. What girl didn't have Wonder Woman!

Ok, I'm late on responding, but did you actually have C3-PO's Kris?? Oh my goodness I'm laughing so hard I just snorted, that is so funny.
