Nannie Annie or Mary Poppins?
Welcome to Aunty Annie! She is staying with us for a little bit. I told the kids that Aunty Annie was coming and she was going to be helping Mommy around the house while we home school. Then I said IT! Emma will never ever let me forget it...I said, "It's kind of like having Mary Poppins come live with us." Emma's face broke out in the hugest grin and I do believe that she heard the "Hallelujah" chorus playing. She said, "MARY POPPINS COMING TO MY HOUSE?!!!!" Emma is still waiting for Mary Poppins to show up. She even asked if Mary Poppins could sleep in her bed. I've given up trying to convince her that I was just using Mary Poppins as an example and she will NOT be making an appearance. I think I may just throw on a goofy little hat and trench coat, grab my umbrella and go outside. I might as well go ring the door bell and stand there with my toes pointed outward. If ya can't beat em, join em, right?

Ok - first of all I am laughing because now I know what you look like when you go walking around the neighborhood with all your kids. :) Oh, I wish so bad that I could be Mary Poppins for Emma!! Until she asked me to sing and then she would know for sure that I'm a fraud! :)
I know. We look hilarious when we go out for walks. We have been referred to as the Macy's Easter parade. :o) (I hope that doesn't mean I'm the float!)
I'm still waiting for Aunty Annie/Nannie Annie to snap her fingers and clean up my house.
actually, who am I kidding...she did come equipped with the magic snaping fingers. I go downstairs in our school room to homeschool the kids and when we come up, I have a clean house.
Its so nice that she can be there and help you like that. Plus, this really will be fun memories for the kids, years down the road they will say to her "Aunty Annie, remember when you lived with us for a little while...."
hello this is annie. I just wantd to tell you gals that I love being here. They are the best. they make my day.
Yo Poppins! Get to your post!
Annie Annie Bo Bannie, Banana Fana Fo Fannie. . . Ayuuuunnnnnnieeeeeeeee!
Cute picture. I like your room. You look really happy. I'm so happy you can be with Joel and Beck. It sounds like you're really helping her out (and we all know SHE NEEDS IT. . . DOE, I forgot who's blog I was on). J/K, all!!!!
Awwwww, LOL, I'm gonna cry!!! Look at poor Mikey in that first picture!! Poor sugar is having an awfully hard time with his helmet!!
Oh and let me tell you the "little sugar" insisted on wearing it as he peddled like a mad dog for a mile. He truely thought he was on some Harley Davidson.
Aw, and bless his heart, he's like 4 inches off of the ground on that "bike." If he fell, he'd probably at the very worst bruise his big toe.
lol, Hey, you can never be too cautious! As a matter of fact, you should be running with a bike helment snuggly latched under your chin as well. Imagine the headache you would have should you trip over a rock and take a tumble!
Oh, heavens to Betsy, I sweat enough already. I think I'll take my chances.
he was doing a great job peddling even at the big hills! Hey any ideas for me to have a blog? I know how to bite my nails :)
You don't have to be an expert at anything to have a blog. It's just a way of connecting with friends and family.
If you have anything to say, why don't you just post on this blog? Beck wouldn't mind I'm sure. Besides, now that you are the star of the blog as Mary Poppins, you are sure to have an enormous following. ;)
do you ever feel down? I will tell you every time I see the smiles on these kids. My heart flips. Thank you God for letting me here and letting me see them growing up
Yes, I think we all feel down at times. The secret in being happy is to be thankful. It looks like you've discovered that. Love you.
Annie just stay where u r happy. dont come back to where u were. You r a different person (HAPPY) (:
to the person who wrote the comment about me. Thank you! I was very happy when I saw it.
