Suzy Snowflake is here!

IT'S OCTOBER, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! Look what we woke up to.

Isn't this suppose to happen after all the leaves fall?

(Snowball fight, anyone?)

Mary was thrilled to see the snow. She exclaimed, "Mommy! when Emma and I were having our devotions last night, she prayed for snow!!!" I gave her a blank stare and said, "Really?" She said, "YEAH! I'm not kidding. I wrote it down in my journal under the prayer requests section." I said, "Well, you can check this one off." As she skipped to her room to get her journal, I yelled up the stairs, "And by the way, next time, run all of Emma's prayer requests by me first." :o)

Maybe this means that we'll actually see some snow down here this winter, if its getting cold so quickly. How cute about Emma's prayer. Could you possibly have her call me so I can give her my wish, ur I mean prayer list. :)

Apparently, I had my volume up too high. I was admiring today's blog and all of a sudden.......

"wonderland....winter wonderland" music came on & scared me to death! :) LOL!

I'm with Matt & Emma--tell them Auntie Tricia is praying for snow, too! :) Tell Annie to put a snowball in the freezer for me. What was she freezing last year? Wasn't it something funny like paper?

Yup, she was folding paper and sticking it in the freezer. I opened up the freezer one day to pull something out for dinner, and there was probably 75 pieces of folded paper in there. I said, "What's this?" And she said, "Cold paper." I said, "For what?" And she said, "Big Frampa." (otherwise known as Great Papa)

Still don't know what was up with that.

My kids would have been thrilled to see the snow. We had just a few flakes yesterday and they got the sleds out, LOL. ~Shanda
